Greetings Reader -
We're coming to those last few days of the 2026 season, with the final playoff spots being determined. Around Philly where I live, people are quite nervous as I write this. We'll see I guess.
But in the Midwest, two NL Central teams have punched their ticket, so I thought I'd share some cool info about the Cubs' and Brewers' ballparks. Just in case you're going to a game, or have a plan to visit next year.
Speaking of that, if you're like most baseball fans, you probably have Wrigley Field on your bucket list. But when you go, definitely make a side trip to Milwaukee a part of your plan. It's just 90 miles away, tickets are affordable, and you know the game won't be rained out.
It's also one of the best baseball atmospheres I've ever experienced. Not knocking Wrigleyville or other fans, just saying that with the insane tailgating scene and the large number of establishments that will take you to a game, it's truly an entire city that revolves around baseball.
(I once pointed out how great the baseball scene is to a Milwaukee native. She said in response, "There's nothing else to do there." No comment!)
So below I'm giving you the info on the Wrigley Field food menu...and it covers it all, including new stuff for 2026, because I don't want you to miss out on the Hot Doug's loaded dogs, Home Run Inn pizza, Buona Italian beef or the BBQ nachos. Chicago is definitely a foodie town.
And I was long overdue to give American Family Field some love, so I rolled up my sleeves and put together a really thorough seating guide; you can check it out below. I've even covered the new Truss Club premium seats that open in 2027, if we don't all get locked out.
There's some interesting seating options at AmFam. Between the sweet Loge Level view, the all-inclusive group seats, the PNC Club level and the obstructed and dirt cheap Bernie's Terrace seats, there's truly something for every taste and budget. It was fun to write, and I hope you enjoy the read.
And if you're a Brewers or Cubs fan, I wish you an enjoyable postseason, and a manageable blood pressure.
Thanks for reading, and I'll see you at the Yard!
Your Friend in Live Baseball,
Kurt
Tip of The Week
If you like a view of the big scoreboard or a panoramic view of the ballpark (I do), you might want to avoid the highest rows of a section, especially as you get further down the baselines. The overhangs from upper sections can often block a portion of the view.
Most teams (and my friends at Gametime) allow you to check the view from a seat before you buy it; it's a good idea to do that anyway.
Did a friend forward this email to you? Cool, thank them for me!

I love a good Chicago dog, but the Cubs also offer lots of other Chicago favorites, including Home Run Inn pizza, Buona Italian beef, and Small Cheval burgers. And of course, Big Slugger nachos.
I cover it all here, including gluten-free, vegetarian and kosher options. All with nice tasty photos. Don't miss out on the Cubs' best menu offerings during your next Wrigley visit.
From the delightful-looking new Truss Club (new in 2027) to the bargain basement seats, there's a place to sit for every budget level and fan preference at American Family Field.
This post will tell you everything you need to know, from included amenities to the best value seats, even the best standing room and shade (or sun) spots. I love the Uecker seats idea!
Definitely know ahead of time for your next Milwaukee visit...
