Hello my friend! I hope you don't mind that I missed a week...I was vacationing with my family in Florida. The heat there is no joke, but we still had a fantastic time. Just as importantly, I managed to squeeze in a game at Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay.
So I'll be adding some stuff about the Trop to the website soon. Some...interesting food selections there.
Anyway, that oppressive Florida heat reminded me of my research mission to St. Louis in July of last year, where it was also blazing hot (please don't ask me why I wore long pants, I don't know). It also reminded me how often I get asked where shade is in whichever ballpark fans ask me about.
From the trip I put together a highly detailed and very useful guide to your seating choices at Busch. I highly recommend you have a look at it if you're planning a visit. I cover multiple ways to avoid heat, find shade, sit under a large fan, or find a seat that includes a climate controlled area to escape to.
And if you're going, you can see rookie sensation Joshua Baez, who hit three home runs in his first three MLB at bats! (He did it at Wrigley, but I'm sure he'll be in the lineup for home games.)
I had a blast in St. Louis and love the ballpark, but my cap is off to folks who sit in the bleachers at Busch in July. Those are some real fans.

Tip of The Week
Most (but not all) ballparks are oriented so that the sun sets on the third base side. For a late afternoon or night game, you will likely be much better off with third base or left field seats.
You can also look for deals on club seats that include access to an air-conditioned concourse; it can be more affordable than you think.

It's not that it's super difficult or even always expensive to drive and park at Yankee Stadium, but there's a reason most people use the subway and other transit routes to get there. The folks at MTA and Metro-North make transit to Yankee Stadium cheap and convenient.
I also cover getting there from New Jersey, Connecticut, and even Long Island using the many transportation options, as well as how to get there using a bus or even a bicycle. Lots of useful info here; don't go to Yankee Stadium without a plan.
