Greetings Reader
How've you been? Yes, surely it's been a while since I've been in touch (and I'll stop calling you Shirley)...if you're a new subscriber you've probably been getting some nice emails from an automatic provider I was using for a while. Otherwise, I would say it's been just a measly six and a half years!
The Ballpark E-Guides site is, as you may know, still around and offering great tips for baseball fans like you. I've just had to take a break from sending emails for personal reasons. Rest assured, it wasn't anything you said.
So since it's been so long, I completely understand if you decide to unsubscribe...I won't take it personally at all. But I hope you'll stay on, because I have a lot of GREAT stuff to share with you.
Like a fun excursion that I recently pulled off - I took a trip to Fenway Park in Boston, the second most expensive ballpark in baseball. I picked up a ticket, got transportation to the ballpark, and ate nicely at the game, all for under $50.
Yes, that can be done...check out the link below to see how.
And as long as we're talking about Fenway, I've included a complete rundown of the Fenway Park food menu...and it's well worth a look if you're going.
In the meantime, I hope that, even if you're an Orioles fan like me watching your team alternate between heart-stopping comeback heroics and crushing defeats, you're enjoying the baseball season and looking forward to going to more games. I know I am.
Lots more helpful stuff coming, especially about ballpark food, which I've been updating a lot.
Thanks for reading, and I'll see you at the Yard!
Your Friend in Live Baseball,
Kurt
Tip of The Week
You've probably heard me say it many times, but are you signing up for team e-mail ticket alerts? Teams will send great offers to your inbox, including waiving ticket fees, discounts for certain games, and giveaway nights.
It's a must-do for any fan planning a game (and it was a part of how I pulled off Fenway for under $50).
I was challenged by another ballpark content creator, Marc Viquez, to enjoy an MLB game for under $50.
Challenge accepted, and at Fenway Park no less...the second most expensive ballpark in baseball.
If anyone has told you the Fenway Park food selection is unexciting, it's because they haven't read this post. There's actually some great finds for hungry Red Sox fans (and Fenway visitors) at the game.
If nothing else, check out the pictures of Lobstah Poutine, Green Monster Loaded Fries and loaded dogs!
Please Support Ballpark E-Guides.
I'd be happy to do all of this free of charge...but it does require me to devote lots of time and money to bring you this informative and hopefully entertaining content.
So I would really appreciate your support!
No actual charge at all. I won't ask you to "buy me a cup of coffee"; I can make my own.
